The Japanese developer that recently finished Blue Dragon Plus for DS would "like to try making games for the Wii" and would bring Mother 3 to DS if asked.
The President of developer Brownie Brown, Shinichi Kameoka, recently told Siliconera that, since the company is done with their latest DS game, Blue Dragon Plus, he would "like to try making games for the Wii." Brownie Brown, famous for portable games such as Sword of Mana, Magical Starsign, and Mother 3, has yet to tackle the console realm. However, Kameoka is "optimistic about [the Wii]."
Also, Kameoka revealed that "[he] would definitely like for fans abroad to play [Mother 3]" and hinted that the studio would be willing to work on a DS port. Mother 3 is the critically-acclaimed Japan-only sequel to the Super Nintendo game Earthbound (Mother 2 in Japan). It stars Lucas of Super Smash Bros. Brawl fame and is famous for a legion of fans so devout that they went to the great lengths of making an English fan translation of Mother 3.
